The NAS Grading Process
  1. OUR SERVICES: Numismatic Authentication Services (NAS) Will inspect, grade and encapsulate your coin with professional and courteous service.

  2. OUR GRADING:  NAS, will not issue a grade for any coins that are counterfeit or severely damaged. Problem coins will be net graded and the problem described, i.e. "MS-63 cleaned", "MS-62 scratch obverse (or reverse)" etc. Coins that are “whizzed", "scratched or repaired", will be returned ungraded to the customer, free of charge.

  3. GRADING LIABILITY:  All parties understand and agree that NAS guarantees the authentication i.e.:(coin is genuine) for the coins we grade and slab. But the professional opinion for the grade is subjective and therefore, NAS makes no warranty or representation as for the value of any coin.

  4. CUSTOMER INSPECTON: The customer agrees to inspect all coins immediately upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancy to Numismatic Authentication Services (NAS).<. within five (7) business days of customer's receipt of coins. Failure to properly inspect, identify and report the discrepancy or error to NAS within 7 days of customer receipt of the coin will make the customer/submitter financially liable for any and all losses and/or claims caused by the circulation or sale of the or inappropriately identified coin.

  5. SHIPPING: The Parties agree that all coins being sent to NAS must be packaged and shipped in strict compliance with NAS’s packaging and shipping instructions.
